Recent Planning Projects Statewide Training and Certification Providing planning support for the creation of a statewide parent management training and certification for family therapists (PMTO). Michigan is the first state to develop this in-house certification capacity. Organizational Restructuring To accommodate exceptional growth, a local research organization decided to restructure key business units and move them to a prominent satellite location. We are assisting the steering team in preparing this transition through meeting planning, facilitation of fact-finding sessions with primary operating units and support functions, and document preparation. Preventative Maintenance Within three short work sessions, we helped Washtenaw County’s Facilities Management staff develop a comprehensive work plan for increasing on-time preventative maintenance and reducing unscheduled outages and downtime. Kalamazoo Wraps Shortly after receiving a six-year nine million dollar federal grant, the Kalamazoo Wraps steering team engaged Dams & Associates to facilitate the implementation planning of a county-wide initiative to improve the system of care for children’s mental health.
